Vicky and Margaret styled hair for a wedding party on July 11. Vickie worked backstage at New York Fashion Week this season. We're proud pink collar workers in downtown Libertyville. We're sharing a few of our fall favorites from our Allure boutique at 521 North Milwaukee Avenue. Liz is Allure's salon manager and Janine is our salon coordinator, and guests keep naming them in We need hair models for highlights and haircuts on Friday afternoons for our intern Emily. This was an extra special day. Margaret is the stylist who teaches our other stylists how to cut curls. Allure turns 30 this year, so we're giving away 4 prizes to say thank you.

Always a wonderful experience whether I'm getting my curly cut from Margaret (who is AMAZING at her art) to shopping the store (which has the best quality clothes, the latest trends and greatest selection at very reasonable prices). Allure Designs Salon and Boutique has been a fixture of downtown Libertyville since 1996, founded by Shelly Malizola, a Redken, Sassoon, and Aveda trained master stylist and educator. Voted a Salon Today Top 200 salon in the US every year since 2016 and named Mainstreet Libertyville Business of the Year in 2024, Allure blends artistry, sustainability, and warm hospitality on North Milwaukee Avenue.

Our team handles custom hair color and hand painted balayage, precision haircuts including curly cuts, six methods of hair extensions, bridal and event styling, makeup, lashes and brows, and a full spa with HydraFacial, Glo2Facial, and dermaplaning. We color with clean, low-ammonia lines including Davines, Aveda, Pulp Riot, and O&M, and recycle up to 95 percent of our waste as a Green Circle salon.
